Hi, I'm Laura Garofalo. I'm a marketing consultant who helps women entrepreneurs get out of their heads and into clear, actionable marketing strategies that feel realistic and aligned with how they actually want to work.

For nearly a decade, I worked alongside a woman founder who built one of the most successful tech PR agencies in the U.S. In that role, I operated at the intersection of business development, marketing, and communications—leading initiatives like a company-wide rebrand and building a content engine that supported growth and industry credibility.

After the firm was acquired, I launched my own consulting practice, Professional Banter LLC.

Early on, I noticed a pattern: smart women building cool businesses were getting stuck when it came to marketing themselves. They were second-guessing their messaging, overthinking content, and feeling unsure where to focus their time to gain traction.

What people don’t talk about enough is that starting a new venture can feel surprisingly lonely. You’re juggling many roles, and doubt has a way of creeping in! And when YOU are the brand, marketing often feels personal and harder than it “should” be.
